The Fortune Group would like to extend its congratulations to the six finalists of this year's ATS Patrons' Award!
In its tenth year, the Patrons' Award from the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS) honours outstanding export marketing achievement by New South Wales' best technology businesses. And as The Fortune Group's sister company, Neo Technology Ventures, is a patron of the ATS, Fortune is providing $2,500 worth of
training solutions to each of the finalists, with the winner receiving an additional $5,000 of Fortune’s training programs.
The six finalists for the award develop and sell a remarkable range of NSW-grown technology, and they include:
Fluorotechnics; innovative global life science tools comprising consumables and small equipment that enable researchers and scientists to better measure biological processes using fluorescence
G.L. McGavin; proximity testing devices that enable tradespeople, emergency services, utility operators and linesmen to more safely define live and dead voltage situations in potentially life-threatening situations
Magellan Technology; unique RFID technology embodied in chips and readers utilised in gaming and health applications that can very quickly and accurately ID closely stacked items such as documents, files, parts and gaming chips
NuFlora; breed and commercialise ornamental plant cultivars that are attractive, hardy and low-maintenance, and ideally suited to the rapidly expanding global market for 'environmentally friendly' landscape plants
Nuix; electronic discovery and investigation software for analysing email and data which allows investigators to quickly find critical information, even where it may have been permanently deleted or encrypted
Uscom; cost-effective and non-invasive haemodynamic monitoring device that measures 20 parameters of cardiac function and can quickly guide clinicians to better diagnosis and patient treatment
Earlier this week, each of the finalists made a presentation during a bakeoff round to a judging panel comprised of representatives from the ATS Patrons. And to support their efforts, Fortune had facilitated a workshop with the finalists in advance of the bakeoff, using content from its Solution Based Selling program, to assist them hone their presentations.
The winner of the Award will be announced during a special function at Government House in Sydney on the evening of Wednesday, 21 October. And we'll be providing updates live throughout the night from our Twitter account, where you can follow us at twitter.com/FortuneGroup.
We'll be sure to post any further updates prior to the announcement of the winner here, and we'll also recap the night at Government House, so please come back for news on that and more.
Good luck to all six finalists for this year's ATS Patrons' Award!
