I have been using The Fortune Group's training programs over the years and have always benefited from the practical management, leadership and sales ideas and skills they contain. Of particular interest to me are the enduring principles of good management learned in the training programs and how it defined for a lot of recipients, their progress to also become business leaders.
I have implemented The Fortune Group’s training with the different company’s I have worked in with considerable success. Especially beneficial has been Steve Brown’s approach, being straight forward and no nonsense it has suited the Australian business culture. Many of my managers over the years have expressed (verbatim) and acted on the content contained in the leadership and sales programs as they managed their teams.
By facilitating the leadership modules with my management teams I have been able to keep them focused on our business objectives with considerable success year on year regardless of industry and market conditions.
In turn, because I ensured all my managers had been through The Fortune Group’s “Facilitator Training Process” they were able to train their own staff whether in sales, customer service, finance or administration with equal success. Both new and existing staff was give the opportunity to learn and further develop their own capabilities which has always created a vibrant and productive work environment.
Finally, and for the benefit of any manager reading this, I know of no other simple reference material contained in “Major Mistakes Managers Make” by Steve Brown, that will change any person or teams thinking forever and in turn lead a cultural shift for any business.
