Hi I'm Terry Smith, Founder and Managing Director of Exclusive Tyre Distributors. We are head officed in Brisbane, have 41 employees and we distribute and sell nationally, specialty branded tyres such as Cooper and Mickey Thompson 4WD tyres, and now the Starfire passenger brand.

We've been associated with The Fortune Group in Australia for over 20 years. While building our business we recognised the value of providing our people with the best skills we could so they can perform well; we also saw the value of using our training process as a way of ensuring our team knows what's important to the business.

We have used training programs from Fortune in the areas of Leadership, Sales Management, Sales and Telesales. The critical difference with Fortune is its unique, inhouse, approach to training. While it has been highly cost effective, we find it very easy to implement the training ourselves and we follow it up on the job. This helps everyone on the team better understand how their job contributes to serving customers and growing our business.
